What is Senpai?
Senpai is an iPhone app that helps you prepare for the CMTO written exam (the multiple-choice certification exam) and your school finals, on the path to becoming a Registered Massage Therapist. It turns the material into clear study notes, practice tests with realtime feedback, and exam-true mock tests, with native-language support whenever you need it.
Is there a meaning behind the name?
Yes. Senpai is a Japanese word for someone who has walked the path before you: a mentor who helps you grow. That's exactly what the app aims to be: a supportive study companion that meets you at your pace.
Does Senpai cover the OSCE (practical) exam?
Not yet. Senpai currently focuses on the written, multiple-choice exams: the CMTO certification exam and your school finals. OSCE and practical prep aren't here yet, but we're actively gauging demand. If you'd want it, email us at support@curisolve.com and tell us what you need: it genuinely helps us prioritise.
English isn't my first language. How does Senpai help?
Practice questions stay in exam English to match the real test, but every explanation can flip into your language: currently Spanish, Chinese, Korean, and Thai, with more coming. Key terms include audio pronunciation, so you learn the concept rather than memorising the wording.
How do the mock exams compare to the real CMTO exam?
They mirror the real CMTO written exam in both category distribution and time per question. The official multiple-choice exam is 150 questions over three hours; Senpai breaks it into 50-question sessions you can take one at a time, or three back-to-back to simulate the full length.
Do I have to follow a fixed study schedule?
No. Senpai is built for microlearning, so you can study in five-minute gaps or longer sessions, at your own pace. Your progress is saved as you go.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Senpai offers a generous free plan for a limited time, with study notes, practice tests, and progress tracking. Upgrading later unlocks full mock-exam access.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. You can cancel whenever you like and your account reverts to the free plan, with your progress preserved.
How can I trust the content?
Everything is written and reviewed by licensed massage therapists and certified educators, and kept current with CMTO standards. If anything ever looks off, you can report it in-app and we'll fix it quickly.
